Beware - DualCatsStudio

WHO: DualCatsStudio

WHERE: FurAffinity submission, exchange was through notes.

WHAT: $65 cut and hinged resin lemur base for fursuit making.

WHEN: Payment sent March 28th, 2017, nothing received as of June 23rd, 2017.

EXPLAIN: User was selling casts of their new resin base, I like to hoard resin bases for fursuit building so I bought one from them. May 23rd I was told they were ordering more resin but since then I have received nothing and the exchange has gone cold.

There's a limit of 6 months to file a dispute on PayPal. I had to do this recently since an artist was trying to tell people that "everyone can have a refund, but you have to wait until August." Of course this was 6+ months beyond many of our invoice dates.

I'm aware, I've had to file claims in the past (and had some filed against me). However I switched over to PayPal Business back in March for my fursuit making business and haven't had to go to the resolution center since then so I didn't know how to file one as it's different on PayPal for individuals.

I figured out how to do it, it's different than "normal" PayPal but isn't taken as seriously. They have you send the seller a friendly message asking them to mail you your item.
