Since this was approved (thank you!) does anyone know how to file a claim on PayPal Business when payment was sent through an invoice? There's no option for me to, I've searched on their current site and under the classic one as well.

Oh that's a new one. May have to call them and file it manually over the phone.

Oh boy. I'll keep looking and call them tomorrow when I find time, last time I filed a claim over the phone it took roughly an hour and a half.

There's a limit of 6 months to file a dispute on PayPal. I had to do this recently since an artist was trying to tell people that "everyone can have a refund, but you have to wait until August." Of course this was 6+ months beyond many of our invoice dates.

I'm aware, I've had to file claims in the past (and had some filed against me). However I switched over to PayPal Business back in March for my fursuit making business and haven't had to go to the resolution center since then so I didn't know how to file one as it's different on PayPal for individuals.

I figured out how to do it, it's different than "normal" PayPal but isn't taken as seriously. They have you send the seller a friendly message asking them to mail you your item.

Oh hey, so the friendly message is actually a claim.

Oh nice. It looks like you found the dispute process. You can still escalate it to a claim if you'd like, or give them a chance to respond.
Jun. 24th, 2017 10:14 pm (UTC)
Escalated to a claim, interestingly enough it says "check back in 5 minutes for next steps."

Remember not to close the dispute (or claim, if you escalate it) until the product reaches your hands. You can always re-pay them if the item arrives after the claim goes through.

Update, two weeks after sending my note asking for an update I've received a reply. Still not cast yet.

Interestingly enough they've done nothing to the claim or even acknowledged it at this point. PayPal is giving them until July 4th to reply before they review it and make a decision based off that.

I clicked on the Imgur links they sent me after finishing my comment, both are in Spanish so I have no idea what they say exactly but they're for proof of tracking. One is an e-mail to the seller of the resin asking where it is, the seller replies with a tracking number, the second link is a screenshot of the tracking page saying it's been in Mexico for some time now.

PayPal e-mailed me today to let me know that the case was resolved in my favor and the money should be deposited some time this week. Oddly enough they gave the bewaree until July 4th to do something and they never did, yet according to FA they read my note on June 27th. Really lost on why they would let it slip like that.

How did this end up? just saw them advertising full commissions on Facebook and remembered seeing them here.

Edit; omg I just realized - they are the same person who read and don't reply to my messages about an unfinished art comission, so dissapointed.

Did they post on Facebook recently? Still haven't heard a word from them about my claim that went through, I would at least like to know if this is resolved rather than have them leaving me in the dark or, worse, making the product and shipping it to me months after the claim was in my favor.

just an hour ago in a closed furry group, contacted the admin so it's up to them if they want to do anything about her in group - but I can PM you, don't want to accidentally post too much about someone :)

too bad they are ignoring you, so far they've read but not replied to my update request, so going to do an ultimatum and/or chargeback while I still can

Last note was received June 27th, newest one was today, July 20th. So nearly a month and they've now acknowledged the claim that went through on July 4th.

I politely told them that since the claim went through and communication is so spare they can re-sell the base to someone else.
