October Positive Reviews!

Sorry for the delay! Here's your positive review post for October!

If you've had a great commission experience, either as an artist or a customer, please comment here and spread the word. It doesn't have to be a full-on story, though you're welcome to type one! All we need are a few lines on why this person was so great to work with. You can also recommend companies, such as printers or fursuit-making teams, as long as it's relevant!

There are plenty of reasons to post someone here: perhaps they went above and beyond the call of duty to fix a problem, or were so prompt with communication and payment it was like having them right next to you, or were very professional and courteous every time you contacted them.

To help keep things organized, please follow this simple form:

1. Name of the person you recommend (please also put this in the subject of your comment):
2. Link to person's website or art page:
3. Approximate time period of when you did business with this person:
4. Details (Here's where you tell us why they are so awesome! What made the transaction go so well? Perhaps link to the art or suit you bought/sold if you feel like sharing. Please mark NSFW if the subject matter is adult!!):
If you have multiple people to recommend, please put them in separate comments to keep things organized.

4. I’ve been waiting awhile to grab one of her 5-6 color symmetrical psychedelic busts. Nabbed a one when she open for commissions again. Very fast turn around for these! The commission was requested, paid for and finished the same day (about 10 hours or so). I even requested to see the sketch, before it was finished. Highly recommend!

4. I've been a frequent commissioner of this artist for a while. Back in July, I've commissioned her for a traditional piece that I've been meaning to get. The art was very nicely done (not to mention colorful due to the Hyper Light Drifter theme) and to make up for the long wait for it to get in the mail, she even added a freebie sketch to go with it.

3. Approximate time period of when you did business with this person: September 5th - 12th 2016
4. Details: Mcmadmissile was friendly, professional, and an overall pleasure to work with! He always responded fairly quickly and was really easy to approach for edits etc. He keeps his queue up to date and works mega fast too, it only took a few days to get my commission! I commissioned a joint icon and we both love them! https://www.furaffinity.net/view/21128176/ (We're on the bottom.)

4. Very patient, polite, but also straight forward. He gave me a lot of free reign over the design of his Werewolf: The Apocalypse character. And didn't seem fazed when I confessed I had gone over the time I had quoted him upon first commissioning me. He seemed more than happy to pay me for the amount of time I put into the piece, was very encouraging and was excited as I was at the outcome. This piece is now in my portfolio and I look forward to doing more work for him.

4. A strong supporter of the arts with pretty impeccable taste (though I'm probably a bit biased), Crys is not only a great customer but also friend. I'm sure other artists she's commissioned - and there's been a lot - can confirm that she is patient, generous, and is good at conveying what she wants and how she wants it while also being open to giving the artist free reign. She's been a great patron of mine, and others, since 2011. A creative herself, she understands how much hard work and soul we put into our pieces.

(And much more but I don't want to spam. Just know that if she comes to you for work consider yourself blessed!)

1. Name of the person you recommend: PuptownFunk
2. Link to person's website or art page: https://www.weasyl.com/profile/puptownfunk
3. Approximate time period of when you did business with this person: First commission was paid for on September 18 and finished on September 20. Second commission was paid for on September 25 and finished September 29.
4. Details: I commissioned PuptownFunk twice, because I just loved how much the first piece came out so much that I wanted another one. Amazingly fast turnaround both times. Note that the second one was the longer of the two, and was fraught with very apologetic messages from him about inconvenient real-life situations that had caused delays and etc. and it still came back in four days. Like, that's what I call "normal" if not "fast" by any other artist, but this artist was in full "oh my God I'm sorry this is taking so long" mode when it hadn't even been half a week yet. The first one was done in two, which is incredible.

He was also very polite and friendly and had some nice things to say about my characters--I know artists draw whatever you pay them to that isn't on their won't draw list, but little "this looks like a cute character and I'll have fun with this!" type comments just go a long way toward making me feel really good about the whole experience. Also look at how awesome the commissions themselves turned out because my God. (Both are NSFW)

3. Approximate time period of when you did business with this person: Commission Arranged Sept. 5th, Paid Sept. 6th, Received Sept. 7th
Details: lymerikk is very friendly, approachable, and fun to work with! I ordered a custom character from them and was on their wait list for a few weeks before the commission was officially arranged. After I was shown a sketch, I paid and, the next day, my commission was finished! lymerikk came up with a great design based on the details I provided and showed me several WIP shots along the way to ensure my satisfaction. I was so pleased that I contacted them for another commission just today!

2. Link to person's website or art page: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/n-o-v-a/
3. Approximate time period of when you did business with this person: May 7th, 2016 - Oct 10th, 2016
4. Details: N-O-V-A was very friendly courteous throughout the commission process, and she even took the trouble to arrange an art stream specifically so that I could watch the art being produced and so that I would have the chance to correct any errors that arose. She was apologetic for the amount of time that had passed, even though I had no problem with that at all, and the finished picture is absolutely gorgeous. She went above and beyond on this picture and I am very pleased with it.
