August positive reviews!

If you've had a great commission experience, either as an artist or a customer, please comment here and spread the word. It doesn't have to be a full-on story, though you're welcome to type one! All we need are a few lines on why this person was so great to work with. You can also recommend companies, such as printers or fursuit-making teams, as long as it's relevant to artists!

There are plenty of reasons to post someone here: perhaps they went above and beyond the call of duty to fix a problem, or were so prompt with communication and payment it was like having them right next to you, or were very professional and courteous every time you contacted them.

To help keep things organized, please follow this simple form:

1. Name of the person you recommend (please also put this in the subject of your comment):
2. Link to person's website or art page:
3. Approximate time period of when you did business with this person:
4. Details (Here's where you tell us why they are so awesome! What made the transaction go so well? Perhaps link to the art or suit you bought/sold if you feel like sharing. Please mark NSFW if the subject matter is adult!!):

If you have multiple people to recommend, please put them in separate comments to keep things organized.

1. Name of the person you recommend (please also put this in the subject of your comment): Wolf-Nymph

2. Link to person's website or art page: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/wolf-nymph/

3. Approximate time period of when you did business with this person: 2013-2014, I waited about a little over a year for this painting but it was expected.

4. Details: I commissioned Wolf-Nymph when she had opened for digital commissions. I sent her an email asking about a traditional painting. She informed me while she wasn't officially open for them she would accept it if I was willing to wait. I was excited to was willing to accept it and I was willing to wait.
Wait I did, over a year, though I got frequent updates and was offered a full refund every update until my painting was started (this is standard for all her commissions).

The painting did take her longer than she had expected it to and she offered to have it framed at a cost to her because of this.
i did not feel she was taking to long as she kept me updated and warned me I would have a long wait. Either way i allowed her to have the piece framed since she offered.

Anyways, this experience has left me with a beautiful painting of my dog.

She was worth the wait and price I paid. i adore this piece of art.

i'm so excited the painting is beautiful I adore it so much. The artist had

3. Approximate time period of when you did business with this person: A little less than a week.

4. Details: I emailed Faun-songs about a headshot lineart commission, and got a reply within a few minutes! She was very prompt and friendly. She is in a different time zone than me (I am in the US, she is in Europe)but that wasn't an issue at all. I could always expect a reply in the evening. I sent her my references, and she had a sketch the next day! She was very open to criticism and suggestions (I only asked for a small edit, which was fixed by the next day as well) and always, again, very pleasant to work with! This was also my first time commissioning someone for real money, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I'll definitely be going back to her!

This was my finished commission: http://faun-songs.tumblr.com/post/92659900520/

10/10 Would commission again, very much so recommended for human art.

4. Great artist to work with, she's efficient and always works really hard on her commissions. you can always get into contact with her, she won't ignore your notes or leave you hanging. The commission was done with 100% accuracy, no mistakes or missed markings, which as of late has been a growing problem in my commissioned works.

The piece she did for me was a 'your character here' auction:

It didn't take her long at all and look at the quality alone!
10/10 for her work and customer service!

3. Time period: July 7th 2014 - July 25th 2014
4. Details: I commissioned MistressAdaira for a new reference sheet for one of my characters, in order to update their look, and she did an amazing job of not only putting a really beautiful ref sheet together, but of nailing down every detail of my character from the pictures I'd provided for her to work from. She sent preview sketches and images every step of the way, including a very rough preliminary sketch that was provided the same day as I commissioned the piece. Her attitude was very professional and she was very easy to work with every step of the way.

3. Maybe a month? Could be less. I was under the impression it would take a lot longer, having worked on animations myself.
Crunchobar was amazing to work with. They accepted my inquiry, even though they were quite busy, and still delivered in such a fantastically quick turn around for an animation!
I have worked with them before and was never disappointed.

4. I bought and paid for one of their sketch day commissions on the 11th, and had the product sent to me on the 15th! Besides the ridiculously quick turnaround they were very friendly and professional, so I tipped them an extra $10 on top of the $35 price.

1. Name of the person you recommend (please also put this in the subject of your comment): Liferien
2. Link to person's website or art page: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/liferien/
3. Approximate time period of when you did business with this person: ~August 10- 18
4. Details: I contacted Liferien about doing a commission on the 10th. I committed to it and paid on the 14th. At the same point she noted in a journal that her PC effectively went belly up. Prior experience with other artists lead me to think this would be a nightmare. That was further from the truth, however, as she completed the piece in just 4 days. The image also included some character design with fox in the image.

The above is the image, and when I can I'll be buying more from her

3. This past end of July-early August.

4. I ordered three pairs of custom color acrylic stuffed animal safety eyes (metallic turquoise, metallic orange, and metallic silver). They arrived quickly, beautiful colors, exactly what I needed...except due to how they had been shipped--each pair and its safety washer in a little baggy all together. During shipping the eyes had jostled against one another and rubbed the paint off of the back of one eye in each pair. The orange and silver I could probably have fudged, depending on what color fur I was putting them onto, since their scratches were rather small. The paint on the turquoise one, though, was so badly peeled off that there was no using it, which I was upset about because those were the ones I needed ASAP for a special project.

I emailed them (a Sunday evening, they were closed) about the issue and asked if I would be able to exchange the eyes, at least the turquoise, for another pair. I did not realize/remember at that time that their TOS states no refunds/exchanges on custom items, which these colored eyes are.

I did not hear from them Monday, so I gave their office a call on Tuesday. I honestly wasn't sure if my email had gotten to them, I'd been having email issues around that time. The man who answered the phone knew who I was immediately and what my problem was. He told me they were currently painting some new eyes and they'd be shipped out soon. I received an email later that day stating the same thing.

They never asked for any photos, did not ask for the damaged eyes to be returned, nothing. This is the only time I've ever ordered from CR's. They made up one new eye of each color and sent it out on good faith that I wasn't trying to scam them, which kinda sorta blew my mind.

The new eyes arrived safely a few days later. They were individually packaged and the padded envelope was stuffed with paper to keep everything from jostling around. :p

Definitely impressed with their customer service and how quickly things were shipped!
