Beware-- Elixirmutt on FurAffinity

WHO: Elixirmutt on furaffinity/weasyl

WHAT: A 10$ colored sketch commission. The piece was not finished because after a wip shot being provided, I was blocked.

EXPLAIN: Elixirmutt contacted me on via note asking for a colored sketch+ background work (10$) of their character.
Reference was sent, and days after, I send the work in progress in case Elixirmutt wanted any changes, since the reference provided was not completely clear and I didn't want the finished work to look unsatisfying if possible.
The wip image given was this.
The note with it shows up as read but without answer, so I sent a reminder five days after in case the note had gotten lost or it was forgotten. It went ignored as well.

Today I decide to upload an adoptable batch to my side account, Species, and to my surprise, I get a +watch notification from Elixirmutt there, showing that the account was active and in use.
Minutes after, I attempt to send a note to inform that I do not mind if they are not interested on completing the transaction, but that I would appreciate a word or some info on it.

When I attempt to send the note, I notice the +watch has been removed (My side account states my main on its profile, they saw the connection?), and my account(s?) is now blocked so I'm now not able to communicate.

I'm a bit upset because this is potentially a waste of time for the artist, especially because the WIP shot of their character was given but no payment was received, and in case Elixirmutt were not satisfied with the WIP shot, I do not think the correct way to deal with it is to ignore and block the artist.

I wanted to let Elixirmutt know that I intend to reuse the sketch so it's not entirely a loss of time and that the commission is terminated, so there's no need for them to complete the transaction since it seems they do not wish to. I wouldn't have had a problem with that in first place, I understand if they were unhappy with the WIP shot or anything like that, but I don't appreciate being ignored and blocked through a business transaction without giving any kind of communication.
