Advice: Being Ignored

EDIT: I posted a comment on her profile and received a very fast response. She basically says she never received the note, and basically attributed her slowness to the fact she wasn't very happy about the way it was turning out, and offered to just do a pencil piece with some colour.  I'm too cautious to say this is resolved but it's well on it's way to being so :)

Hello everyone! I've been lurking this community for a while now but this is my first time posting. Sorry if there's any mistakes D: This can also be considered a beware.

I commissioned Maurizio-Tames on Deviantart around September or so after she responded to a Job Offer I posted on DeviantArt. She was pretty polite and I loved her artwork, so I was very excited to commission her. I asked her for an estimate of how long it would take. She said a month. It was a pretty big illustration that was background intensive so I could understand having to wait a month or longer.

Here are the screencaps. Everything started pleasant enough and I was confident that the whole process would run smoothly.

Note sent asking for status

Now, my problem now is that after the sketch was done, she disappeared. I got no communication from her whatsoever. I would have appreciated a note to say "I'm busy, I might not be able to get to it until (insert date here)" but I hear absolutely nothing.

Getting a bit concerned as it's now November, I send her a note on DeviantArt asking politely for a progress update.

4 weeks later. It's December and she has not replied to my note. It sits unread in my outbox and now I'm unsure of what to do. It's clear she's ignoring me. She submitted a deviation four days ago. The time it's taking doesn't bother me but being ignored does.

So right now, I'm wondering what I should do. I was debating two options.

1. Just cancel the commission, count the forty dollars as a loss and commission someone else for the same picture. I suffer from terrible anxiety and something like this isn't going to make me feel any less stressed out.

2. Find a way to somehow get her to answer me/do the commission.

She also has a working list on her profile. However, I am not on it, and the same people have been on that list for months. She only has one painting in her commissions folder. It is possible she uploaded other commissions somewhere else but that just makes me more anxious.

I'm unsure what would be the best option to take. Any advice/comments would be appreciated!
