Monthly Positive Feedback Post!

Happy October everyone! Its time for fall, Halloween, CANDY and... positive feedback!

If you've had a great commission experience, either as an artist or a customer, please comment here and spread the word. It doesn't have to be a full-on story, though you're welcome to type one! All we need are a few lines on why this person was so great to work with. You can also recommend companies, such as printers or fursuit-making teams.

There are plenty of reasons to post someone here: perhaps they went above and beyond the call of duty to fix a problem, or were so prompt with communication and payment it was like having them right next to you, or were very professional and courteous every time you contacted them.

To help keep things organized, please follow this simple form:

1. Name of the person you recommend. (Please put this in the subject of your comment, also.)
2. Link to person's website or art page.
3. Approximate time period of when you did business with this person.
4. Details (Here's where you tell us why they are so awesome! What made the transaction go so well? Perhaps link to the art or suit you bought/sold if you feel like sharing. Please mark NSFW if the subject matter is adult!!)

If you have multiple people to recommend, please put them in separate comments to keep things organized.

3. Within the last week/week and a half. Twice!
4. Ran into Julian offering test runs of icons in the style of A-ha's "Take On Me" over at teenycom and I had to bite being A) a lover of A-ha and B) liking interesting icons! I was able to snag one of the original trial spots, paid and got my first icon within two hours. Floored by the speed and accuracy of my character and the emotion I wanted - when Julian opened again I jumped at it for my anthro character, and they didn't disappoint me. Again, they're quick, professional and very willing to go back and adjust anything you feel would be off (in my case, I didn't have to!). One of my best teenycom experiences.

3. Turnaround: Same day. ALWAYS.
4. Details: On a whim, I decided to purchase some icons for my husband and I. She had the icons done the same day! A day or two later, I also decided that I'd buy a birthday icon on a whim-- for a friend. She had the WIPS sent to me, and with my approval, had the icon finished before the end of the day. She is happy to provide WIP shots. She is happy to change what you ask, and doesn't give you any flack about it. She works at a NAME YOUR OWN PRICE rate! I have nothing but good things to say about her. If you're looking for an affordable, and very decent equine artist.. look no further than her!

4. After seeing these sketches http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4558202 which I thought were absolutely gorgeous, I jumped at the chance of snagging a set for myself. That full page of sketches was only $5 and was done by the next day. An absolute steal.

3. I actually don't recall, to be honest!
4. Commissioned her for a badge of my character Sol holding a fursuit head of one of my other characters, Beetus. (badge in question) Definitely not an easy subject, but she pulled it off perfectly. <3 She worked very well with the refs given, and even managed to camouflage his chest in a most awesome way when I came out as trans while she was working on it. I also changed my character's markings around during this time, but didn't mention it to her because I would have felt rude doing so - most of my badges had his old markings, anyway. She got the updated ones perfectly and Sol's gender, without my even mentioning them! Thoroughly impressive. <3

1. Kaput Otter
2. www.kaputotter.com / http://www.furaffinity.net/user/kaputotter
3. I emailed her on 30/08, received a sketch 2/09, received my finished sketch 5/09, it was posted 10/09 and I received it in the post (from US to Australia) on 20/09.
4. I commissioned Kaput for one of her 'l'ottery' sketches, which she takes 10 at a time. As you can see, mine was completed very quickly. Through the whole process she was extremely polite and enthusiastic about my idea. I was vague about the subject matter, just wanting something with my character and my IRL cat. She was very professional, got me to agree to her T&Cs before starting and giving me the rough sketch for approval. The shipping was reasonable (around $7.50 I believe), and my sketch arrived in perfect condition, flat in between cardboard. I was extremely happy with how this went and will definitely be commissioning her again in future. My finished piece can be seen here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4405488/

3. I commissioned her on 8/28/10 and I received the finished piece on 09/17/10 with many progress shots in between.
4. Electropanda is one of the greatest artists I've ever worked with. She's extremely friendly, reliable and she is always more than willing to change anything wrong. Her customer service is some of the best I've ever experienced, and to top it all off she's an amazing artist!

This is the lovely piece she did for me- http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4498614/

1. Semaj007
2. http://semaj007.deviantart.com/
3. Time period: April of this year. I was short on cash at the time, but when Semaj007 posted saying that he was taking discount commissions, I knew I had to have one. I explained from the outset that I wouldn't be able to pay until X date, which the artist was fine with, and agreed to do the commission and post when payment was recieved. Everything went very smoothly.
4. The turnaround was quick and the entire transaction was completely painless and without stress, Semaj007 was very professional about it and did an excellent job with the artwork. He also had quite a lot of commissions on the go at this time (I seem to recal that he posted about 5-10 within the same week!) and all were completed to the same standard, that had been outlines in the initial "taking commissions" journal. The price was also very reasonable considering the quality of the work.
Here's the picture he did for me: http://semaj007.deviantart.com/art/11-Officer-Tosk-161581676?q=&qo=

Winged Evil
1. Winged Evil
2. http://winged-evil.deviantart.com/ / wingadingding
3. Time period: August of this year.
4. The turnaround was quick and communication with the artist was smooth. This was a teenycom commission, and I am often wary of those because so many artists posting there seem to be begging for sympathy commissions due to real life problems, which can cause further problems... but I got the feeling that Winged Evil was a genuinely nice person that I enjoyed doing business with, and the artwork that she did was a very good quality for a very reasonable price. Here's the pic she did for me: http://winged-evil.deviantart.com/art/You-re-a-Locksmith-eh-176629239?q=&qo= She also posted it out for free, and put a free bonus sketch in the package too! Lovely! ♥

3. Twice this past year
4. I did a full-sized painting and recently a badge of the same character (anthro wolf+ motorcycle= awesome) for this client. Both times he was extremely polite and very easy to work with, even when he needed the badge done in one day. He's a great client and tips extremely well.

1. Rasenth
2. http://rasenth.deviantart.com/
3. Several times in the past but most recently over a course of the last month or so.
4. Rasenth provides a very stylized, bright art that encompasses a variety of subject matter. She's always pleasant, always exceptionally communicative about what's going on and she's very quick. I've thrown several different commissions at her and she managed to get three of them done in the span of about a month with two more projected to be done by the 9th of October, one of these an animated icon. She's appreciative of her commissioners, very friendly, and has exceptionally good prices. It's an enjoyable experience working with her as a commissioner.

3. I've commissioned her bunches of times starting almost exactly two years ago.
4. Kalika is definitely one of the most professional, organized artists I've ever worked with and is always quick to respond to any inquiries. Every time I've commissioned her, she's finished the artwork very quickly, which is also a nice bonus. Definitely the kind of service that keeps me coming back for more and more and more... plus, look at her art! Here are my two most recent pieces by her: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4331415/ http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4034102/

3. Worked with him regularly over the past year
4. A repeat client of mine ($1300+ worth), Jon is always super prompt and generous with his payments and very thorough with the descriptions he provides for the drawings he wants done, and is never pushy or rude. A very nice and personable guy, I'd welcome business from him any day and look forward to working with him even more in the future. My best customer yet!

4. He is an extremely patient, fun client to work with. He is always enthusiastic about the process and he does not badger or rush things and allows me to get work done at my own pace. He's very fast about approving sketches and tells me exactly what needs to be fixed. He also pays very well and is just all around a pleasant man to work with.

3. 9/30/10.
4. I gave them a loose idea of what to do and they ran with it. I'm very satisfied with the results. EvilLabRat was very quick and had it finished the next day. EvilLabRat was also a very friendly, approachable person and flexible with what I asked for though it may squick some people. Not comfortable enough to post a link to the NSFW commission, but you can find it in their (also NSFW) gallery if you wish.

4. This is a small company that acts as a middle-man for artists and smaller indie companies. Through them I have purchased custom jewelry, a hand screen printed shirt and recipe cards. While I have not sold items through them, their customer service really is amazing. Items arrive on time and are tracked. Exchanging a size required a promptly answered email and the cost of shipping the too-small item back.
They advertise everywhere and even run "coupons" if you see their ad on a site like Cheezburger.
I don't know if anyone here has sold through them but I have had no trouble buying from them and have been a repeat customer.
