Resolved- Schala-kitty

An update to my post about Schala-Kitty- I emailed her one last time after months of giving up, just in the hopes I'd get my money back or my coaster. I was extremely surprised to find an email from her in my inbox!

"Growly,

I am terribly sorry for everything. When I read your e-mail, I immediately went to find your coaster - I hadn't even thought of it since I've been through everything that led me to move back in with parents (I'd rather not discuss and I'm sure you'd rather not be bored with the details.) However, I am so sorry to say that it must've been lost in the move since despite searching all morning I just can't find it. I can't say I'm sorry enough. I'm going to refund you $20 for putting up with all of this. I don't blame you at all in least for warning others against me - I'm pretty sure I deserve it.

Again I'm so sorry for everything and absolutely understand if you want nothing to do with me.

Schala"

So if you are still owed needlepoint from her, sounds like she's answering people's emails now and issuing refunds. So consider this resolved. Shame I never got the item though, it looked good from the photo she sent me forever and a day ago.

It's a shame that you didn't get your item but I am pleased that the artist issued you a refund. :) Glad this is resolved.

I think i met the girl you're talking about at Anime Boston ( I might be mistaken, but she said she was from Atlanta and was making coasters of pokemon ). that's really a shame that she's not too good outside of cons =/ she seemed really cool and was doing amazing work at the con. I'm glad she gave you a refund, but that's really surprising that she'd just...drop off the planet like that.

Sounds like there was a real-life justification for her mishap. Glad you got a refund and I hope in the future she can have a better system of staying in touch with clients.
