starting to get frustrated with Furbid

About 2 months ago I bought a blue and black husky tail on Furbid from a seller, GellyBean. I paid in advance and also commissioned ears to match the tail from her. When I e-mailed her back in either October or November she said she would send them out after she got back from a convention. I haven't heard from her in months and never received the items. I e-mailed a couple of weeks ago to ask if they had been mailed and not gotten any answer. Has anybody had trouble with her before? She still seems to be selling things on furbid. Is there anything to do with this kind of situation on Furbid?, because on Furbuy if you don't receive your item within a certain amount of time they will contact the seller. I tried e-mailing some administrator on Furbid but never got an answer.

I know my friend Anji-kun commissioned a partial suit from her, and I remember Anji being utterly frustrated at how the date would be pushed back and back. He should have had it by Anthrocon 2008, but since he couldn't go at the last minute, that was pushed back, etc. He took a picture of it on 8/6/08 and the eyes had to be redone by someone else. (I found out later she left a pin in one of the eyes. I don't know if that was accidental or not, but wow... very dangerous.)

I actually texted Anji-kun your story and he responded, "That sounds like her all right."

Gel is usually really awesome and fast with anything she does. So I'm not sure why she hasn't answered. Have you tried contacting her other than thru Furbid?

I had tried both her e-mail and phone number listed in her furbid information. I finally got a response from one of my e-mails today. Ironically, it was after I had already left negative feedback and called my credit card company to try and get my paypal payment reimbursed. She said that she just found out that the package had been sent back to the post office and that she would have my items out by Friday and I should get them either Monday or Tuesday.

Problem has been fixed. [: the tail apparently ended up being sent back to me by the post office, but never actually reached me. I've gotten it back and will get it mailed out asap.
