I don't want to be mean!

I need advice on two things.

Second piece of advice:

Edit: Thank you all for the help. I've never had to tell someone "no" in an instance other than what I will and will not draw before. "Can't say no" fits me perfectly, I'm afraid. They have been given a deadline, or a dismissal. I have others to fill the cue, which I'll notify once I hear back from those that were given a deadline. As for the TOS, a blanket of "modification" will work fine, and those asking for SPH's will be turned away. Thank you all very very much!

Update on Brio/Furbrications

Brio/Furbrications has a new account over on FA guys!

But here's the good news, it's a page specifically for people to get in touch with her about lost commissions and communication.

She's having people send her notes and e-mails and getting everything straightened out.

She told me, personally over the phone, that she's going to do badges digitally because she's been having trouble with the mailing system and that she's currently working on all owed fursuits, including the one she's doing for me. She's also selling some personal things soon to issue refunds to people she owes them to.

*crosses fingers* Get in touch with her please if she owes you something! But, please, don't be all rude about it, that scares her I think. I think she could use a little encouragement with all the work she has ahead of her.

Darzi - More Excuses

A follow up to this post!

So after I posted that journal, Darzi got in touch with me. I told her that my parents were coming up to visit me from Michigan in the middle of July and that she could send the foam head to them so they could send it to their house to bring it to me so she could save on shipping. She said that she would either have a new foam head made or just send the old one to make it by that deadline.

Middle of July comes and surprise, surprise... no fursuit head!

About the end of July comes and she sends me the following letter:

I'm sorry I missed the deadline, but I will just pay the extra amount to send it to your home. I've been working so much, recently, that it just flew by me. My coworker is on maternity leave, so I've not had a day off in a while.
Please send me your address, though, and I'll get it to you. I'm making a post office run tomorrow (day off!) to get shipping supplies, then stopping at fedex to send the various things I'm shipping. If I get your address before then, expect a tracking number email. If not, I'll at least get shipping supplies and make a run to fedex when I get it.

Here's another shocker. I never got the tracking number or the head!

I had already written this one off as a loss quite some time ago... but the fact that I keep getting excuses is what's getting me pissed. It does not take a year and a half to MAIL something out! Heck, I don't even have a car and it's never taken me more then a few weeks to do a mailing. >:(

I'm just tired of the bullshit excuses at this point.
